Stamford Startup Weekend -- March 30 - April 1 (Do it)

Hello Teammates – I hope you are keeping very busy but still have a little time to enjoy the spring weather. I’m writing to let you know about a really cool event happening in Stamford at the end of the month. It is Stamford Startup Weekend, the first in Stamford and only the 4th in CT. I want to encourage all coders, designers or anyone who has an idea for a startup or wants a taste of the experience of being in a startup to click here and sign up.

Stamford Startup Weekend offers a compelling platform for the southwestern Connecticut technology and entrepreneurial communities to join together to co-create new applications and then develop their commercial cases. The Weekend starts at the Stamford Innovation Center, 175 Atlantic St., Stamford, CT, on March 30 at 6:30 PM. Team presentations, judging and awards will be held at the Stamford campus of the University of Connecticut on April 1 at 5:00 PM.

If you don’t want to go for the whole weekend, you should definitely consider signing up for the Sunday afternoon “presentations and judging” session at UConn Stamford, which will be a great opportunity to get the feeling for StartupWeekend – and squeeze a little networking in to your weekend.

If you’d like to know more about it, drop me a line or take a look at this episode of my video blog, 10MinuteStrategy that is dedicated to the Startup Weekend.  And feel free to circulate this note among your friends, especially anyone with the energy to attend a 54 hour startup event!!

Keep busy,

p.s. -- Our next FairCo TEEM event is 4/25 -- it is our 2nd Annual Design Night and I know it is going to be awesome.
