I am excited about this. Even if you are not riding with us, or riding in the Demonstration, have a good Memorial Day weekend. Please take a second and think about the men, women, and working animals that gave their lives so we have the freedoms to celebrate, to enjoy our lives and to ride.

Rolling Thunder Packing List:
The following is based on things I’ve learned from previous Rolling Thunder rides. Feel free to add and drop according to your habits and pleasures. I’m pretty sure even I will not have something on this list.
Refillable water bottle
Something to sit on (Besides your bike)
Quart or Gallon Ziplock Bag – you can blow these up and use them as a pillow. Can also be used to collect your disposable trash
Paper Towels or rags – you’ll have some time if you want to wipe down parts of your bike.
A subway sandwich and some chips – Lunch.
Trail mix or munchies -- you'll need the electrolytes. It's what plants crave.
Camera – yeah.
A few cigars, cutter and matches
And old tarp, blanket or large beach towel –
Comfortable walking shoes –

There is a $tarbuck$ there if you need a caffene fix. I found it's nice to grab a couple of sandwiches, a bag of chips, some trail mix (or jerky) and a couple of bottles of water and soda and throw them in the saddlebags. It's nice to wander around and see all teh different bikes!
