Sat., March 23, the much anticipated, limited edition Imperial stout will be launched at Two Roads Brewing Co. It was suggested at the last meetup there that this will sell out fast.
This will not be anything like our last meetup at Two Roads. We expect that it will be even more crowded as people rush to buy a pint of this limited edition beer. It may take a long time to get served at the bar and we may have trouble securing a table or area for the group to meet.
As a group we can decide if we want to go out afterwards. I think most of us enjoyed going to Windmill Restaurant - 400 Hollister Ave. I imagine that due to the expected crowds we will want to get there early, drink and then leave relatively early, so please make an effort to be on time if you would like to hang out with the group.

Special thanks to all who have helped me to keep an eye out for this event!! (Brendan, Sean, etc.)

It appears that Igor sales will begin at 9am on the 23rd! There is a limit of 3 bottles per person and they only have 1000 bottles. It is highly possible they could be totally sold out by noon. Also the Sikorsky's will be there starting at 10am to visit and sign bottles.
here's the article with this info:
We'll still meetup at noon and hang out as a group, but I just wanted to pass this info along in case anyone wants to go earlier.

Igor’s Dream is Brewmaster Phil Markowski’s unorthodox version of a Russian Imperial Stout. It’s a 10.9% ABV Russian Imperial Stout aged in Rye Whiskey Barrels.
Bottles will be sold for $20 per 750 ml bottle (25 Ounces). Bottles are vintage dated and hand numbered with cork and cage finish. Unfortunately, due to a very limited amount of Igor kegs, we will not be offering Igor growlers in the tasting room.
Brewery doors open at 9am— there will be a three bottle maximum per person since we only have 1000 on hand. I confirmed with Emily today that the tasting room will be open/serving starting at 9am so people who get there early can hang out and drink until the rest of us come at noon.
There will be NO TOURS on Saturday at all.
The Fryborg food truck will be back (the good one with the fries and grilled cheese!) and also Skinny Pines, which looks to be mostly pizza. I recommend bringing cash for food and drink since it will be so crowded.
