New Meetup: FCBG - Let's Go Game Night (#54)

Announcing a new Meetup for Fairfield County Board Games!

What: FCBG - Let's Go Game Night (#54)

When: Friday, September 24,[masked]:30 PM

Where: MediFit
17 High St 3rd Floor
Norwalk, CT 06851

Okay let's go for a straight up normal game night. Bring some games and we shall play them.

I won Container at ConnCon back in March and have had thoughts of selling it. But every time I go back to BGG I see comments like:

  • "Container is in many respects a near perfect economic game."
  • "This is the one of the best, most realistic business games I have ever played."
  • "Mechanically easy yet tactically rich, Container is consistently great and largely ignored. I love the tough economic decisions and fluctuating market."

Really? I guess I should keep it then. The next step would be to actually play it. Anybody interested? If so, I will dig into the rules and learn the game before game night. Best with 4 or 5 players.

Cheers!

See our About Us page to view a list of games that might be played. I'll be bringing a selection of games as usual. Certainly bring your own games if you've been wanting to try something in particular.

We meet in Norwalk at a corporate office with a few tables and access to a fridge, water, coffee, and a microwave. We are welcome to bring our own snacks and such, as long as we promise to be neat and clean.

Please contact me if you have any questions or comments. The exact meeting location is provided automatically to group members when you RSVP.

**NOTE** Be sure to check out our Files section for two detailed maps of exactly where to go and where to park. Hopefully they will help!
