Awesome Boz Scaggs.
Yes, a little more soulful, a little less edgy than the earlier days.
Beautiful harmonies and musical singing/harmonizing in his tribute to a deceased friend. I'll bet they really worked on that one, and in fact he did mention how much they'd worked to find and create a tribute.
It's encouraging to see artists carrying on after 35 years.
Thank you for putting this together.
and it was a tasty curious little Vietnamese restaurant before dinner.

For Saturday's Boz Scaggs 8pm concert, I have made dinner reservations for four at 6:15pm, Pho Saigan, 1275 Iranistan Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. It's two blocks from the theater. http://www.yelp.com/biz/pho-sai...
Mark and Karen, please write me or note here one last time that you can make dinner. Anyone else, write me with the Lowdown if you're coming.

Final reminder that Boz Scaggs is playing in Bridgeport on Saturday, April 6. 4-6 people in the jazz meetup already are going. There are still seats left, if you visit http://fairfieldtheatre.org/boz... . I'm arranging dinner locally at a a well-reviewed Vietnamese restaurant.

I can see seats are going quickly for Boz Scaggs, so I will reach out to anyone who has RSVP'd 'yes' by the morning of 2/15 and see if we can arrange to buy tickets at the same time and next to each other this weekend. You can still try to buy tickets near us before or after on your own, and we'lhave an opportunity to meet for dinner as a group before.
