Friday night Climb and Wine/(beer)

Clubs and beer pong parties are pretty overrated. Climb instead, and make for a popular in-office conversation on Monday. We shall go out to various vices and regain all the calories you just worked hard to burn off...sounds like an amazing Friday night to me. Best of all, you will become popular.* REGULAR GYM RATES APPLY. Come on Wed. for the most affordable pricing!

Not a bad night of climbing. I don't recall anything exciting that happened. I climbed, then I belayed someone, then I climbed some more.

I prepared mostly for the weekend knowing I would be climbing with my favorite Heidi Saturday morning and then outdoors with the climbing crew.

As far as I know, nobody went wine and beering after.

I will have to wait until next week to try and destroy my liver.... as the horrifying boozer I am.

Need to pull some plastic prior to climbing outdoors. Wish I knew if it will be ice or rock beforehand.

When you arrive, go to the front desk:

    1) PAYMENT -- Pay for a day pass ($20.00 or $16.00 for student with valid ID) and rental of climbing shoes and a harness ($6.00).

    2) WAIVER SIGNING -- If you filled out the electronic waiver already, you might need to show proof. You can fill out the electronic form beforehand at this website:

If not, fill out the e-form at the touchscreen computer.

    3) EQUIPMENT PICKUP -- Head to the equipment area to be fitted with shoes and a harness. Don't be shy to ask for a staff member to get the items for you, help you put them on and check for fit. Shoes should fit tightly.

If anyone is a new member and needs information or a belay, please have someone at the front desk come find me and I will be happy to give you the tour, introduce you to people and get you climbing.

    Look forward to meeting you.
