Let's continue to enjoy the fabulous weather and hike in nearby Prince William Forest Park. I have chosen the North Valley Trail. North Valley Trail is a beautiful, moderately-difficult hike that follows alongside Quantico Creek. We will hike approximately 5.2 miles. Bring a lunch and water and we will find a nice spot for a picnic! Directions: We will meet at the trail head. To get there, take I-95 south to exit 150-B (VA Route 619/Joplin Road). The park entrance is the second right. Once inside the park, take the Scenic Drive to Burma Road. (Scenic Drive is circular, but the easiest way to Burma is to bear right towards Turkey Run at the fork.) Right on Burma and approximately 10 minutes down Burma Road, you will reach a road bridge and an adjacent foot bridge. Go over the road bridge and the trail head will be to your immediate right. See map. Map of Park:

The office is located at 3001 South Abingdon Street, Arlington, VA. Depending upon the number of people, we might need volunteers to drive. Otherwise, we will see you at the trail head at 10:15 am.
