No-show Policy

Your RSVP matters!
When an event has a capacity limit on the number of "Yes" RSVPs, it is very important that you keep your RSVP up-to-date. If you RSVP and don't show (i.e. no show) your membership in the group is much less appreciated. No-showing will get you kicked out of the group.

When appropriate, event descriptions will contain an RSVP cutoff and that is your guideline. Even if the cutoff has passed, please notify us of your RSVP change so that we (a) we won't wait for you, (b) we can try to give the venue a more accurate head count.

    When you no-show ...
  • The restaurants/venues get stiffed - they made an effort to accommodate our entire group;
  • If the organizer/group is held financially responsible for your 'seat' at the event, you will be expected to cover the expense regardless of your reason for no-showing;
  • When events are filled to capacity, your "Yes" RSVP prevents other members from attending; and finally,
  • For example, if the event capacity is 18 members, the other members who attend are expecting an opportunity to network and meet with 17 other people.

Sincerely and without drama,
Your organizers
