Dear Fairytale study group members,
Yes, that's right. Following the groups request I went looking for a fairytale about fathers and it turns out they're surprisingly hard to find. But Star Wars (Episodes 4, 5 and 6) is actually a great one. I'm rendering a fairytale version (without the sci-fi bells and whistles). Here's what we'll do in group:
1. Talk about the Jungian approach the psyche and fairytales.
2. Read the story together aloud
3. Go through the images in the story and talk about their meanings, focusing especially this time on the different images of father the story presents.
It should be a fun and rich discussion. I'm thinking that like Baba Yaga this'll be a two part class. The cost for this 2 1/2 hour class is $25. I hope you'll join us:)

Hope to see you there!
