Back in the middle of 2008 a few of us got together to play mid-week badminton in the evening. The idea was to get more practice on top of weekend sessions elsewhere and a nice way to roll over the mid-week hill top. Subsequently the casual group blossomed into what we are today.

Today we are a diverse group of intermediate players who meet up weekly for doubles games. You will find that we are one of the most friendly clubs around. Our members enjoy both the competitive and social aspects of the game. To challenge and improve ourselves we compete in the Middlesex County League. To keep it friendly and fun all are welcome to have a quick meal or drinks after the game and once in a while weekend gatherings are arranged.

We are based at the Sobell Leisure Centre in Finsbury Park. Other details you should know are we use feather shuttles and the cost for the evening is £6. We always welcome new members and encourage people to come and try out. As long as you know the basics and are keen to improve you will fit right in!
