I had fun this time around playing Andean Abyss... thanks to Justin for purchasing it yesterday!

One thing I hope people will keep in mind is that not everyone learns things at the same pace. I felt a little intimidated the last time I went to this group at The Sentry Box and felt like I was at a disadvantage compared to other, more experienced gamers. I do want to learn new games and keep coming, though.

Anyone interested in Command and Colors: Napoleonics this Saturday? Or any of the other Command and Colors games?

Don't worry about it guys. A lot of the time we use these monthly meets to try out new games, so nobody really knows them!

The group is mainly focused around conflict themed games, usually, though not always, historical, and not restricted to just traditional "wargames."

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
