Many! I really enjoy Shotfire Barossa Cuvee to pair with grilled foods, especially portobello mushrooms. As summer approaches, I usually make sure I have a few Gruner Veltliners on hand, Anton Bauer or Hugl. I enjoy some of our local wines here in VA (Sunset Hills, Hillsborough, and Church Creek Cab Franc by Chatham. )
Vegetarian and vegan, courses from appetizers to desserts. Also, my husband is not vegetarian but does enjoy when I cook so not really "meat substitutes" but something we both enjoy that doesn't leave him feeling hungry.
Vegetarian trying to do more vegan, but still have an appreciation for all local, humanely raised foods.
I live in Arlington and enjoy the social aspects of food and wine (and of course, the food and wine.) I decided to become a vegetarian two years ago after reading some compelling material and am always looking for creative recipes to pair with wine.
