Want to attend?

Travel back in time to see what Thanksgiving was like during the Civil War. Costumed reenactors will portray Falls Church residents of 1863 as they host a Civil War Thanksgiving dinner and entertain friends and soldiers in the parlor. There will also be a reading of the Gettysburg Address, which includes President Lincoln's proclamation of a National Day of Thanksgiving. Admission is free. Read more
