Woke up sick maybe next time
Ok 16th and moraga it is at 10 unless it rains. I hope I won't pass out from all that climbing.

Rain will cancel the walk
had to work tonight and have to work tomorrow night so I will have to miss, sorry. go Giants
Looking forward to it, only been there once although I don't live too far away in Miraloma Park. 16th and Moraga it is!
After we hike up to Golden Gate Heights we will descend and climb more stairs and hike up to Grand View Park and return down the aerial stairs and back down the Mosaic stairs. It is a workout but worth it if we could have a day like today.

Sill meeting at 16th and Moraga? At 10 a.m.?
Will the walk continue around the hill or up to Golden Gate Heights Park and/or Grand View Park?

Ok, just making sure now it's the 20th. I may be having a garage sale that day but if not I want to join you. Sounds like great fun!

is it 15th & Kirkham at 10 am or 16th & Moraga, where does it end??
okay, guess it is some sort of steps in SF...will google it
16th and Moraga sounds perfect. See you there at 10 a.m. on Saturday
what is Mosaics Steps? I do not live in San Francisco, but might be interested in participating..
I would like to meet, depends if I have to work that night. If I am working maybe I can meet at the second locations listed. Do you know what parking is like at 15th & Kirkham, also if I meet at 16th & Moraga do you know about what time the group would get there. Is there any cost? Thanks Jane
I biked 3 hours 2 weekends ago, walked about 8 miles on the beach yesterday, I guess it's time to do stairs.
NOTE: Terri, the host for this event has postponed this event 1 week, from the 13th to the 20th.

The Mosaic stairs walk I am starting at 15th and Kirkham and walkoing up many stairs, then turning right and heading to 16th and Moraga where we will start up the Mosaic stairs. From there we walk up more stairs and end up at Golden Gate Heights spectacular views, we will descent and head up many more stairs and up in a Park with tennis courts and then head back. There will be a lot of stairs, this is not an easy walk. It should take about 90 minutes.
People who do not want to start at 15th and Kirkham can meet the group at 16th and Moraga. Will save time and lots of stairs.
Can't make it on the 20th. Have a good time all and maybe you'll do it again and I can join you.
Sounds good to me. Let's meet on the corner of 16th and Lawton
Rita, hi. If you go online, you can actually find the mosaic steps of San Francisco and if you want to, can go to google maps or google earth and look at them. They are steps that run from one street to another and are inlaid with hand painted mosaics. It can be a strenuous outing depending on how many of these staircases we want to try and how high we want to go. With my knees, the sky is not the limit, but I'd love to do some of it. I'm coming from the east bay and will drive over when I find out where we are meeting. Hope to meet you.
