I am a 21 year old college senior studying public relations. My goal is to own my own firm that specializes in fashion show production and brand imagery. I BREATHE the industry. I am also very community oriented. I volunteer with SimpleComplexity, a non-profit organization that focuses on character and esteem development in young women and I am an avid contributer in the fight against Lupus with the Lupus Foundation of America. I am outgoing, a free spirit, thrive in spontaneity and am always looking for ways to help others.
I'm most interested in the fight against Lupus because I lost my aunt to the disease 3 years ago. I also am interested in anything helping young women, especially those who come from less fortunate means because they don't have access to very many resources that could assist them in their growth in development.
My sense of style is quite arbitrary. The simplest way to describe it would be minimalist with a twist. I stick to neutral tones with a twist of color or perhaps an insanely controversial shoe or a gaudy piece of jewelry (those are the instances where the arbitration occurs). I occasionally add a fad or two to an outfit, but I typically stick to classical pieces. What I wore today: American Apparel Rider Pants, an H&M cotton tank, a vintage Iceburg blazer with sequined pocket detailing, vintage rider boots and a vintage Givenchy chain link necklace.
I would be most interested in covering events on my blog, event planning and wardrobe.
I am always looking for ways to help out the community, what better way to do that then by adjoining my unwavering love for fashion with my willingness to help.
I like it so far.
