Get a drink somewhere?

Dickens Bar is one of the best sports bar or place in general in Hong Kong to watch the live game on the big screen. It really is the next best thing in the city to having the tickets and sitting in the stadium. The atmosphere at this venue ignites and electrifies when big games are broadcasted on their large plasmas bringing in large crowds from around the world, expats living in Hong Kong, locals and of course, tourists staying at The Excelsior Hotel here in Causeway Bay.

Sporting memorabilia are splattered across the walls with Boris Becker's tennis raquet in the tennis corner and Ian Botham's cricket bat as the prized centre piece. Loads of fantastic sports photos are used to fill the gaps in between and will have you and your buddies chatting about them over your cold beer.

Talking of beer, they do have a full range of drafts on offer. Food is also available of course being an English pub that it is serving up pub grub. I highly recommend the beer battered fish and their buffalo wings. Goes great with your pint and perfect for nibbling at while your eyes are fixed on the screen.

I may not be going but just a suggestion: If you find Dickens too pack & noisy can go to TOTT, the roof terrace of Excelsior!

Zense cafe in Jaffe Road near Elizabeth House? It's a quiet coffee shop on 4/F in a commerciall/esidentail building with a balcony where we all can sit, if no rains.
