Join Feet First for the inaugural Walkable Washington Symposium on Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 9am to 1pm.
This is Washington's state's only symposium to address the importance of walkable communities for health, safety, and economic vitality. The symposium will bring together over 100 leaders, planners, engineers, educators, and advocates from across the state to educate, energize and inspire the next generation of leaders.
The Walkable Washington Symposium will highlight communities/organizations/municipalities that have developed innovative policies, and programs to create healthy, livable and walkable communities. We are honored to have Chuck Wolfe, author of Urbanism Without Effort, as our lunch keynote speaker. Early bird tickets are available now through February 28, 2014. Get your ticket today! Following lunch at 1pm, please join us for an optional free walking tour of Pike Place Market led by our friends at Pike Place Market Preservation & Development Authority. The walk will take approximately one hour.
