Historic Fremont walk

Join Neighborhood Walking Ambassador Naomi Botkin to explore places of historic interest in Fremont. We'll talk history within the specific context of Fremont and Seattle while touching on influences from around the world.

2 hrs, 3 miles, casual pace, rain or shine. Metro #5, 26, 28, 32, and 40, or plan your route at http://tripplanner.kingcounty.gov/.

Sorry, not ADA accessible. Due to hills and rough sidewalks, this walk is not recommended for strollers or children under 10.

It was really wonderful spending a sunny afternoon together in Fremont. Thank you for coming out and walking!

Looks like I missed the RSVP, but I'd like to you for the walk, if there's room.

Just rec'd notice that I was confirmed, but had made other plans. Didn't expect to get in... So, my spot can be freed for someone else. Want to do it another time, though...

Hi all, we are on for tomorrow rain or shine.

Who knows with the weather, but we might be a very large group. That's wonderful! But please keep it in mind if you decide to bring your dog. Dogs are very welcome, but this might not be the right walk for any dogs that are socially challenged.

Parking: I would suggest Evanston Ave N or Dayton Ave N on the block north of N 36th St. Be mindful of the Sunday Market and allow a little extra time to find parking.

Hi folks, what a giant group! Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday afternoon. I strongly suggest arriving by bus, as we'll be competing with the Fremont Sunday Market for parking. And speaking of the market - make room in your plans to spend some time there before or after the walk. You won't regret it.
