Seattle Waterfront Walk

Explore the Downtown Seattle Waterfront and talk about its past, present, and future. Neighborhood Walking Ambassador Jack Bennetto will lead a walk from Pioneer Square to the Olympic Sculpture Park along the water, then wend back through the nearby parks, alleys and avenues. The loop is 3.5 miles lasting, at moderate pace with frequent stops, probably about two hours.

This walk is organized in partnership with the American Heart Association's National Walking Day on Wednesday, April 2, which raises awareness about the importance of physical activity as a part of a healthier way of life. Join the Puget Sound AHA on April 2 from 11:30am to 1:00pm at the Union Bank Plaza in Downtown Seattle for a rally and walk. More details can be found at http://pugetsoundheartwalk.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=1091104.

Good walk, nice weather, beautiful scenery, and good information from Feet First Ambassador.

I checked the Water Taxi schedule and weekend crossings don't start until April 7th. I'm coming from West Seattle so that's the way I'd like to go. Rats! I hope you do this walk again.

I'm sorry to hear about the Water taxi, but yes, I've been thinking about doing it monthly through the summer so hope you can make it another time.

Would love to hear about all the changes as well. Any chance in getting someone from the waterfront to come talk.
