I don't like exercising just for the sake of exercising but walking is a great way to be outdoors, get exercise and get from place to place.
I "walk" all the time since I am a bus rider; however, I want to get more active with longer walks.
Many years ago I participated in volkssport and did quite a few walks. It was a great way to see neighborhoods and go to places I wouldn't ordinarily visit. Now I am looking for active ways to be outdoors.
