12:00 - Business meeting to take nominations for next month's election for the Board of Trustees.  Per the FOR bylaws, "Nominations for positions on the Board of Trustees shall be held on the first Sunday in October following the regular monthly FORum. The person making the nomination and the nominee must be present (in lieu of the nominee's presence a written statement that the nominee accepts the nomination shall suffice). A quorum need not be present. Any member may be nominated for a position on the Board of Trustees. A member may offer himself for election. All nominations must be seconded."

If you are interested in serving as one of the four elected Trustees, please plan to attend FORum in October, or, if you cannot attend, arrange to have someone submit your nomination (and remember to provide a written statement of acceptance.)

The duties of the Board of Trustees are listed in Section IV, item G of the bylaws.  Chief among these is the election of officers.  The duties of the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer are described in Section V of the bylaws.  Anyone wishing to serve in any of these roles should make that desire known to either a current Trustee or to a newly elected Trustee as soon as possible after the election on Nov 3.  (A member may serve both as a Trustee and as an officer.)

Food and drinks afterward at St Angelo's Pizza..

Oh, friends, I've been up sick all night! To my deepest chagrin, I don't see how I can make it in the morning-- I'm so bummed, but I just can't survive the school week if I don't recover. Sigh.

I thought teachers weren't allowed to get sick!? Take care of yourself!
