Introduction

I, too, am a free-thinker and would enjoy the discussions and learning from others. The founders of this country were free-thinkers, were educated in logic and reason, and knew that a theocracy was a seriously bad choice.

  • Dayle, the Emory concert is on Sunday afternoon. Regardless, it sounds as if you don't need to be driving until you are feeling steady again. I'm sorry to hear that you are dealing with vertigo. Keep holding on to the furniture until you feel better. Or go to the doctor??

  • Hey Dayle,
You may well be right. We can't go b/c are entertaining Steve's daugthers b/c one of them is having a bday. We did go a couple of weeks ago, tho, when they introduced the new Mini Me organ, & he was wonderful as always. Enjoy Sunday! We're going to the symphony opener tonite & are thrilled that there's even going to BE a symphony this year after all the drama! Btw, movie nite has a full house this Sat as it turns out. But there's always next month! :-)

  • Hey Dayle,
Steve & I hope to see you again soon at another FOR event. And we'd also love to hear you play the piano or organ sometime! Actually, we're going to the free organ concert at the Schwarz Ctr at Emory on Sat, Oct 27th at 8:00 if you'd like to sit w/ us. It has a Halloween theme but is their usual, wonderful organist. I went a year or 2 ago & it was great!

  • Hey Dayle! It was nice to meet you Wed.:-) I asked Steve Whiteman if there are any seats available for Movie Nite next Sat Oct 6th & he has 2 seats left. You should check it out! We're having a scary film classic called "The Old Dark House" starring Charles Laughton, Boris Karloff, & the lady who played the old lady in "Titanic." If you'd like to come, please ask Steve for his drop-in request form: [masked]
It's also on that card I gave you. See you at the movies!

  • Thanks for the update. I am confident that your work will not be in vain and I look forward to your first recital.

  • I would not want to intrude since he is quirky. I am a bit surprised that this thing is costly - especially in this day and time. I don't like to hunt people down for money - no matter what the cause. I am happy to give my time (I volunteer at the Atlanta Opera - both at its office and at Cobb Energy when they have performances). I get a lot of satisfaction doing those things. You never mentioned if you finished the organ. I would like to hear you play one day when it is convenient.

  • I really do not have a good voice but would have loved to sing. I would like to attend the rehearsals though; if that is possible. Did you ever finish the organ?

  • HI Dayle, no problem - take care of yourself and I'll see you Sunday.
