It's the double barreled episode of Founder Friday! Lou Donnelly-Davey and Melissa Clark-Reynolds are taking centre stage this month. So join us for a wine, a beer, a chance to connect with friends and potential friends in the female founder community and to blow your minds with some awesome stories.
HUGE welcome to Lou Donnelly-Davey, who's travelling up from Queenstown to meet you all and share her story.
Louise Donnelly-Davey is the founder and CEO of Scrattch, an online platform dedicated to creating context and meaning around internet data and Noted.Women - a social enterprise platform designed to increase the number of women in high growth enterprises. Prior to stepping out on her own, she worked for some of New Zealand’s largest corporations in New Ventures and started her professional career as an intern at the Ministry of Economic Development in their Capital Markets team. Follow her on Twitter at @louiseQTNZ.
And back from the UK, welcome Melissa Clark-Reynolds - serial entrepreneur and founder of Seven Dragons Ltd
Melissa is a serial technology entrepreneur. Having recently closed down her most recent business (MiniMonos - a global brand and digital property for kids centered on a Virtual World), she is looking at what is next. Melissa has been founder and/or CEO of several technology businesses over a twenty year period (eek!). These include GMV Associates (sold to Southern Cross), PayGlobal, Intaz and MiniMonos. Melissa is one of the few kiwi women to raise investment money inside and outside of NZ. She is on the boards of a number of private technology companies and was instrumental in setting up Lightning Lab in Wellington.
BYO something to nibble or drink (the leftovers from July will be winging their way across with us!)
