We'll be back in SF for this Femgineer Forum hosted by ThoughtWorks!
Despite the growing push of women to join tech professions, the attrition rate of women in technology is still pretty high. There are a number of factors that lead to their departure from their technical roles or from the industry altogether. Often times it has less to do with their technical prowess, and more to do with an environment that is less than hospitable.
In this Femgineer Forum we'll cover the following:
• How to encourage women to stay technical throughout their careers
• How women can participate more fully and effectively on teams
• How women can take on technical leadership roles
Schedule for event:
6-7pm Networking and a light dinner
8-9pm Break out session to address individual needs and challenges

ThoughtWorks line: [masked] and Melissa's cell: [masked] if you have any troubles.
ThoughtWorks office is located on the corner of the Pine and Montgomery intersection in the Financial District. The entrance to our building is located between the Dress Barn and Knoll stores. When you enter the lobby you must press the down button for the first elevator on the right to get to our floor. That first elevator on the right is the only one that goes all the way to 16. The building does have a 24 hour concierge so if you are confused feel free to ask and they will direct you. We'll also have ThoughtWorkers in the lobby to help direct guests. (If for some reason this elevator is out of service you can take the first on the left it is the freight and not as nice looking.)
