By the way, I miss being around Feminists a lot. I have been thinking about joining the Feminist meet-up, but concerned that some hetero women are very sensitive to remarks that may sound "anti-male" to them. I have a son and two grandsons, and so of course I'm not a "man-hater" or "separatist", but I see the male dominated culture in a world where women are in the majority, and I speak to that issue. It would be interesting to me to discuss with you, regarding whether I would "fit in".

Hi Gail, A couple of titles of the books I was mentioning last evening are "Long Time Passing, Lives of Older Lesbians" by Marcy R Adelman, and "Look Me In the Eye, Old Woman, Aging and Agism" by Barbara Macdonald. I don't know if they are still in print. My copies are still in the mountains, and I'm planning to be in the mountains next week and will pick up those and others to share.
