Intro to Phyton for Raspberry Pi Developer

During our first meeting we tried to get a rather complex Raspberry Pi project running, but we ran into some issues.  So, we decided to take a step back and start with a simple project.  Therefore the goal for this meeting is to have Thyrus (member of the group) give us a basic overview of Phyton and to wire up a simple electronic component like turning a LED on and off to show how you would use Pyhton to interact with it.

Here's the agenda:

7:00-7:10pm: Mingle

7:10-7:40pm: Overview of Phyton (Thyrus)

7:40-8:00pm: Wire up a simple circuit  (Group work)

8:00-9:00pm: Program a simple Phyton program to work with the simple circuit (Group work)

Let me know if we should add or change anything in the agenda!  See you next week.

We had a great meeting last night. It lasted until 11. We all learned something about the raspberry Pi. Thyrus showed how boy thin worked. I am organizing a buy of raspberry Pi model B1 for $35. Thymus wants 2. Mack wants 3. Anyone else? My cell number is[masked]-for-for-7six.
