2013 Parkside Garden Tour

All events originate at the Good Shepherd Church entrance on Summit.

Guided Architecture Walking Tour  --- Noon & 2pm

Self guided garden tour  ~ $8 donation

Optional guided architecture/history walk  ~ $10

Now in its 16th year, the Parkside Garden Tour is a “must see” event, as it heralds the opening of the garden tour season throughout western New York   The locals see the Parkside Garden Tour as the perfect opportunity to show our handiwork and have some fun along the way --- talking with visitors and sharing our passion. The garden tour is about weaving a neighborhood quilt of color, beauty and outdoor lifestyle, not a “best garden” contest.  For a small fee, veteran Parkside resident and docent, George Stock, will take you on a neighborhood walking tour, narrating the history and the myriad architectural styles integrated into the homes of prominent Buffalo families ---  interspersed with enjoyable local folklore.

I would do this if this is the one that the Davidson house is going to be a part of. The idea of actually getting in is HUGE.
