All patients, family, friends welcome to our group. This is a group of support and laughter. I'm looking for the above to raise awareness of fibromyalgia which as you know, very few doctors don't even believe it exists. I will try to contact every town newspaper to list the press release by the National Fibromyalgia Association (google). May 12 on about every year is Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. I'd like to involve everyone touched by this disease to possibly march downtown in cities across the state proclaming awareness, more funds for research. This disease has been known about for the last 1000 years. Isn't it about time. If you can find enough people in your own town to participate have your awareness day close by. Everyone involved has a say as to how to proceed and if anyone has good ideas, please share. I hope you will all join me.

I've met too many docs who don't believe in fibro at all and simply dismissed me. By that I mean if we collect a small amount of funds to help with the mailings to senators, congressmen, legislators it would be extremely helpful. As our group enlarges, we can meet out somewhere, but you can always chat with us online. We'll speak again.”
