This was an exceptional- exactly what I've dreamt- a serious writers' group should be. Talented people who brought & gave much of themselves. Thank you. I was honored by every moment from each of you. Thanks Stephanie for sharing your warm, lovely home. "SO GOOD TO SEE YOU" ALL.

    Magical Blessings!

    Sincerely w/Care,
    paris

PS: I will apologize- now- for that night & future ones, perchance offending anyone ie: language, violence, sexuality, etc. I've lived a remarkable, phenomenal life. It's allowed me to see & 'be' many amazing things. One can love, care, & still speak (one's personal, emotional) albeit "brutal truth" from discernment (& chuckles) devoid UNLOVING-judgment. I know I AM, have been, or will be, some aspect of everyone & everything. Experience often gives harsh voice to 'I AM'. Then I write. Two sides but ONE coin. Duality is an illusion. (Failing, I work on not being this.) "It's all good. It's all God." is my knowledge. So again, forgive me now. lol!

Tentative "yes" as I live in Layton so travel constraints exist depending on location.

Here is an interesting bit of advice on the use of adverbs?

Wow. OK all you serious writers, if you're not motivated to "find an address", or "check your calender" regarding whether you need to sort your socks... You'll never finish a book. I know from experience on both sides of this fence. Lol! Wish I lived in SLC Mark. I'd come for you. If anyone in Provo, Orem area is serious and needs a ride, call me @[masked]

Forgive me Emma, It was inconsiderate of me to think you weren't a 20-something, procrastinating (which I have done for years...). That's why I said "I've been on both sides of the fence". It was simply a truthful, tongue-in-cheek comment to motivate anyone who really wants to write succesfully. I've had more challenges than most ever will. That is why I have 'no filter'. Glad you're still participating where and when you can. Again, I'm never sorry for being myself, but I do ask you to forgive me if I offended you.

I liked what you wrote, Paris. The peppy post got me out of my stupor today. Thanks for the push!! And certainly whether young or old, we have all been through significant events. That's part of why we're here. Have a great day you guys!! Looking forward to this meetup!!

Not sure that I can attend this as I have a hard time finding addresses that have not been around for many years.

Is anyone coming from SLC who might be able to give a ride? I work at the U and live in Sugar House. Sadly, I don't drive, due to poor vision, and this looks like quite the commute via bus.

I would love to come, but I feel I have something going on that night. I can't put my finger on it. I guess I will have to go look at my calendar!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
