Hometown: Salt Lake City
January 7, 2011
Aspiring. I was a small-town newspaper reporter for a couple years and published lots of short articles, but not the stuff I really want to write. Black licorice is the only candy worth risking my health. The red stuff isn't even licorice.
Nonfiction history and historical fiction; science fiction; fantasy. Catching up on classics that I missed. Books that are about to be made into movies, before I see the movie.
Ever since a short stint as a newspaper reporter, I have had a yen to write more than just short current event pieces. I have sketched out ideas and written half of a first draft, but I need to kick myself in the pants to get the rest out on paper.
Great! I plan to attend again as life permits.
