Hello Abolitionists! There is an important activism event happening in the Valley tomorrow night. Please check your schedules and see if you can't make it! Please contact Skye Steele if you are able to help.
The next activism event is scheduled for Friday December 18th. As all of you are new to this, please arrive at the Dream Center at 8:00 pm for orientation (address below). At 9:30 we will split up into teams, meet with each Team Leader to prepare for each outreach. The street outreach team will leave between 10:15-10:30 and will go to local businesses near Metrocenter to speak to business owners about The Rescue Project. The street outreach team will also give out cards to the businesses so they can pass them along to prostituted persons if they need help. The street outreach team will then go to the red light district in Phoenix and do outreach to prostituted women on the street.
The community activist team will leave between 10:15-10:30 and will go to the candy store show lounge to protest this club. If time allows, the team will go to a second club near the Dream Center. When the teams are done with each outreach, each team will reconvene to debrief. Feel free to contact me with any questions!

We want to hear your suggestions and input on the issue of human trafficking in AZ. Our goal is to build a forceful coalition that consists of a multifaceted spectrum of members that span across the Valley. Given the fact that this issue is deeply rooted in an underground cesspool of perverse, greed-filled parasites that thrive on a massive demand to buy sex with strangers of all ages including innocent children who are most often the victims of these unimaginable crimes.
This group meets to discuss local efforts in the fight against Human Sex Trafficking in the Phoenix and surrounding communities. The group is open to everyone, including law enforcement, volunteers, local church leaders, business owners, CEO's, NPO's, local and state elected officials, healthcare workers, first responders, former victims, educators, parents and any member of the community who believes this to be a heinous crime that must be dealt with through immediate action by the community. Please join us in the movement to rid our State and neighborhoods of this horrific crime against the young, vulnerable and often desperate and broken-hearted youth in Arizona.
We will discuss projects underway, how to get more involved, spark conversations for new ideas and solutions to combat the growth of the issue, as well as trainings each month to better protect children and bring community awareness.
We are also doing trainings for ages 12 and up that are meant to equip young teens with knowledge to avoid the tricks and manipulation tactics that are used to coerce young victims into the sex trade. Please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 602-430-5367 Janet.
