Please don't RSVP for this meetup unless you're coming to the 2D showing of the Hobbit with everyone else who's RSVP'd for this meetup.
Lets go see "Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" in 2D at 9pm (ends 12:10).
This will be VERY BUSY as it opens the previous Thursday, so if you're getting your own ticket then do it as soon as you can.

Whatever doubts there may have been about the plot stretches and special effects, I have to stay that Martin Freeman and all of the Dwarves were excellent Value.

I was thinking more about the bit with Old Bilbo (Ian Holm) before Young Bilbo (Martin Freeman) takes over for most of the film ;-) it seemed a little superfluous

Just a quick comment, i was just buying my ticket, and the 8 pm showing seems to be 3D. The latest 2D showing was 7 pm, I was told....

Judy and I are also booked to see Bilbo and friends in 3D at 8pm. We preferall the dimensions. :-)

I'll probably be seeing it more than once, and the folks i am spending Christmas with will probably want to see 2D, so I was happy to go with the 3D version!
