The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Please don't RSVP for this meetup unless you're coming to the 2D showing of the Hobbit with everyone else who's RSVP'd for this meetup.

Lets go see "Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" in 2D at 9pm (ends 12:10).

This will be VERY BUSY as it opens the previous Thursday, so if you're getting your own ticket then do it as soon as you can.

If you're coming to this showing but not coming to the meal beforehand, get in touch with me.

Whatever doubts there may have been about the plot stretches and special effects, I have to stay that Martin Freeman and all of the Dwarves were excellent Value.

Facetiousness aside, I did enjoy Martin Freeman's performance - terrific casting & great sense of comic timing, I thought!

    Enjoyed the spectacle.
Why was Bilbo Baggins in this film?

Because he's the central character. The Hobbit was written before The Lord of The Rings.

To Oli, do I still have time to buy a ticket, I've not been able to get online and am a little confused about what is going on?

You're welcome to come along but you'll need to get your own ticket. We're sitting in k5-k15 for the 9pm 2D showing
