Hi all - it seems the cinema is hardly ever showing the 2D version of "Life of Pi" so we'll go see it in 3D on Saturday 29th. And it turns out most of the pies in the restaurant are 3D already.
We'll meet at the cinema at 6pm to go eat then go to the 8:15 showing of the film, which ends at 10:50. Come to the meal or film or both. If you're coming to both, please RSVP for both. See the meetups for details. If you're coming to the film but not the meal, let me know so we can co-ordinate meeting up.
That bloke who sits next to Claudia Winkleman on BBC's Film 2012(aka Danny Leigh) described "Life of Pi"as "Beautiful" and "A Joy" and "Visually stunning" and "Phenomenal" (you get the idea) and added "3D is an intrinsic part of the way it works".
If you're coming to the film and want me to get a ticket for you so we're all sitting together, could you either bank transfer £11.85 to me before the end of Friday 28th (ask if you don’t have my account details) or click the payment button on the meetup to pay £12.50 to me by PayPal (includes 50p PayPal charge). I can’t get any 3D tickets cheaper than the standard box office rates.
