Hi All! I met Jessica Epstein the other night, and see that she's a member of this group - which sounds like a great group! Thanks for the discovery, Jessica!
Oooh! So many favorites! Changes at each moment in time. "Strictly Ballroom" just popped into my head right now, as well as "Life and Nothing But" - this French film about a post WWII statistician and his nemesis who is looking for an unknown soldier.
I have a project in mind - leveraging film to inspire mankind to take on the epic fusion challenge. More here. http://www.fusionenergyleague.org/index.php/blog/article/batman_fusion_redemption

hey rezwan, you're a geek too! :) i joined a little while back too! before we met.
Hi Rezwan,
I have not attended such meetings (yet). I am very new to the area. If this meetup group posts those, I might actually dorp in some time and have a look.
Cheers, Marcel

Hi Rezwan,
I am working with a group in NJ to host a crowdfunding meetup in Rutgers University this fall. Let me know if you would like to help make this a success.

Hi Rezwan, I have designed wireless radiation (gamma) and energy monitoring networks and would like to discuss fusion energy sensing at a meeting. -JJ
Rezwan,
Welcome to the Equity Crowdfunding Meetup. It sounds like you are getting very involved in Crowdfunding. I am sure you will lots of experiences to share with our other members. Our first meetup will be in September. I am looking forward to meeting you there. -Benjy
I like the paper by Lindemuth and Siemon. The first section seems solid, and follows the sort of back of the envelope calculations used effectively by David MacKay's "Sustainable Energy Without the Hot Air". It might be possible to take these ideas and make something more accessible. I would be cautious about sections 10 and onwards - there is a lot of speculation there. I am excited about MTF, but it lacks experimental verification. I look forward to meeting you and discussing this further!
Hi Rezwan, I have been following Prometheus with great interest - I still have serious doubts about the reactor's design, but I sincerely hope they prove me wrong! I hope to make it to a meetup, but weekdays are going to be difficult for me. Thanks for saying hi!
Hey Rezwan, don't worry, that was only a typo. Ironically I'm thinking it may have been a freudian slip as I don't know how many meetings I will be able to make in Princeton seeing that I am working here at Villanova most of the time. -Brian
