Darin Scott is a great speaker! I went to his weekend feature film workshop and he has lots of tips to share regarding feature film development and production (script, cutting costs, shooting director's techniques, directing actors and much more).

Free Meetup Event Raffle!!   A free pass to Darin Scott's directing workshop!  If you don't win, there will be a $60 discount off sign-up for anyone who wants to attend his weekend director's workshop.  Workshop is $349 (with discount $289)

AFTER DARIN SCOTT'S MEETUP, there will be a meetup with actress Lillian Hurst (Lost, Dharma and Greg, etc) (2-4pm).

Darin Scott's Biography

Darin Scott has produced, written, or directed such films as MENACE II SOCIETYDARK HOUSE, THE OFFSPRING, LOVE & A .45, TO SLEEP WITH ANGER, TALES FROM THE HOOD, WAIST DEEP, CAUGHT UP, FEAR OF A BLACK HAT, SOMETHING WICKED, SPRUNG, STEPFATHER 2, and THE BROTHERS.  He's currently directing episodes of a new crime series for HBO.

Twelve of Scott’s feature films have been national theatrical releases.  They’ve won prizes at Sundance, been screened in Director’s Fortnight at Cannes, won 6 IFP Spirit Awards, won the MTV Best Movie Award, been listed on dozens of Top Ten critics lists, and grossed over 100 million dollars at the Box Office.

The Top 5 Priorities for Indie Directors
Selecting a project is a decision that will determine the trajectory of your entire career as a filmmaker. Making the right choice can vault you to the top, while a bad choice can take you years to recover from. Darin Scott will show you how to choose, and develop, a project that will help you to become a hot, in-demand filmmaker.  He'll talk about how to make sure your project is commercial, how to make sure you can create slick visuals, and how to make sure the script keeps people on the edge of their seats.

Hey there. So in the text it says Feb 24th but above it says March 3 so I wanted to confirm that it is indeed in March and not Feb? Thanks.
