A "Sensory Overload " Wine, Art, Nature & Cultural Experience !

  • August 24, 2014 · 10:00 AM

If you want a great day out of the ordinary, then RSVP for this special experience.

It's only $59 & includes  so much you will need the 'Smelling Salts".   A terrific value.

Meet in the parking lot at DiRosa.  10:00 am. or earlier.  We leave shortly thereafter to our first location.  A hidden gem in Glen Ellen called Quarry Hill Asian gardens.  Unusual & rare  trees & plants.  waterfalls, bridges, exhibits & unique art structures, creeks, amazing Sonoma valley views, two islands in the Quarry lake, & many new things to see.  Our lunch will be in a vineyard creekside with wine.

We leave Quarry Hill in time to reach our 2:00 pm reservation for our tram ride from the Gate House Gallery nestled next to a beautiful lake with a palm island.  & up to the main house, gallery, museum & grounds.

Here we will have two trained docents lead our tour thru the property & the outdoor grounds.  Have your camera ready.  Watch for the wailing peacocks.  Flying Angels, Bottle house, kaleideoscope tower, cars hanging from trees, unusual art & other sculptures, & so much more.  This is the largest collection of Bay area art in the U.S.

At 3;30 pm. we leave for a short stop & tour of the  "Cornerstone" gardens; mentioned in the 1001 gardens to see before you die publication.  We may have a wine tasting experience here.   Then we are off to visit two more special nearby wineries for olive & wine & special sites to see.  Mud Sharks & Sicilian Donkeys & rare & exotic birds to see , time permitting.

Are you tired yet ?  It's almost 6:00 pm.

***Just bring a lunch & good walking shoes.  Wine at lunch will be provided & all winery tastings.  I'll also have other drinks, and snacks, water, available & included.

NOTE:   This is a "MUST SHOW" event as I will have to pay for your Res. if you don't show up.   So please   honor your commitments.

And don't forget your camera.

NOTE:  We will be able to tour Cornerstone gardens at our leisure as there will be no wedding event that day.

All this for only 59 bucks.  I'll have new pymt info soon.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
