What is “Flash Catalyst CS5” and why do I care?
Flash Catalyst CS5 allows you to add rich interactivity and animation to your FW/PS, or AI designs without writing code. Flash Catalyst developer Adam Cath will show you how to turn a static mockup into a living, breathing user experience which can flow directly into production – no slicing or rebuilding necessary.
Adam has been working on Flash Catalyst since the project began in 2007, after working on the Flex SDK and AIR. On the side, he is an amateur graphic designer and runs a university course shopping website (mochacourses.com). He also plays the trumpet in SF salsa band Conjunto Picante (myspace.com/conjuntopicante).

Clint FlorezThis was a good intro into what Catalyst and FW can do together and how fast you can start building fully functional prototypes in no time. If you know Flash a little bit, Catalyst has some of the same features for creating some interactions.
