This is a cross over event with "Sacramento Glass Artists"
For those of you who have recently joined, (Welcome) and those of you who have not been to my studio (Stellar Studios) yet, here is a good opportunity to see what's going on & think up some new ideas for us in 2014!
New for 2014, since so many people are expected, not only am I doing staggered start times, but there will be a small single seating event on the Sunday before hand: 1/19/14 1pm to 3:30 for about fifteen of the people who just can't make the main event.
Please RSVP for this day early as space is limited and it will fill up quickly.
For those of you signing up here, what I would like to do is start about noon for you and for the public have staggered start times at 12:30, 2:00 & 3:30 to end around five-ish.. So when you sign up and/or volunteer please let me know what time works for you, thanks.
If you would like to volunteer to help the day of the event, (either day)
PLEASE give me a call:[masked]

"4th Annual Bowl Makers Day"
@ Stellar Studios
Main event Saturday January 25th
At 12:30 – 2:00 – or 3:30
Whether you have glass making or breaking experience or not, this is a great way to “play” for a good cause.
I will donate the kiln and studio time & ask for a $20 per bowl donation, to cover the price of the glass. Tools, space and fun are provided.
You can make one or two donations of a 6.5" square or round bowl, whether you want to keep one and donate one or donate both, is totally up to you.
In February, (Friday the 21st), we will all get together for a Preview & Potluck to see how all the bowls have turned out.

This March 3rd & 4th event, here in Sacramento is a major Fund Raiser called "Empty Bowls", for the River City Food Bank in which people attend either a dinner ($60) or luncheon ($30) and for the price of your ticket you get a meal (bowl of soup) and your choice of a hand made (empty) bowl that has been donated by a local artist. (That's us)
I am inviting one and all to participate in making bowls to donate to this worthy cause.
