First Thursday Open Mic Night

Hi everyone!

Please join us at Open Mic Night at Starbucks in downtown Winchester, hosted by Winchester Community Music School and singer/songwriter Mike Verge.  We're there from 7-9 pm on the first Thursday of every month (except July and August).

The format is all acoustic - we'll provide a PA, mics, etc...just grab your guitar, violin, harmonica....whatever you do best and come on down, grab a coffee and play for the locals.

This is a great opportunity to get some performing experience in front of an appreciate and receptive audience. First time performers are more than welcome - actually, we encourage it!

See you Thursday? Good!

Planning on attending this week and was curious how the performance aspect worked. Would we sign up once we arrived? If so, is there a recommended time of arrival, and how many songs do people typically get? Thanks!

Hi Stephen! Glad you'll be joining us! We start at 7 PM so it's best to arrive right at 7 or a little before and that's when you sign in. Obviously if you can't make it right at 7, sign up when you arrive. Based on the attendance, I generally like to give each performer 3 tunes. Mic and PA provided. Look forward to seeing you!!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
