This is a group for anyone looking for a place to worship, participate in community service or Bible study. You may also check out our webpage for more information at http://www.cvillefirstunitedmethodist.org/ Worship The church offers three different styles of worship. The 8:30AM service is a blended service in our small chapel. The 9:45AM service is a Contemporary Service with a band. The 11 AM service is traditional and held in our Sanctuary. There is also a Communion Service held each Wednesday at 5:30PM. It is a casual, short service to feel reconnected mid week to our faith. Dinner is served at 6PM. Why not reconnect and then spend time in fellowship. Otreach There are opportunities to serve the homeless on Mondays at our Bread and Blessing Soup Kitchen. Or volunteer at Loaves and Fishes, the local food pantry that began from visions of the church and has bloomed in to reaching thousands in the community. We have a preschool that always could use volunteers. There are far too many outreach opportunities to mention. We also love to pair college students with a family in the church. Sunday Evening Sunday Nights are our Sunday Night Alive programs for all ages. We have dinner together at 5PM and then activities for young children, a group 'tweens" (4th and 5th graders) and a vibrant youth group. Adults can participate in a Bible study with our Pastor.
