LACK of JUDGEMENT - COMPASSION - CHARITY - PATIENCE - FORGIVENESS - FRIENDSHIP - KINDNESS
I started this group to invite other outdoor enthusiasts to join me on my own adventures. I personally do many of the activities mentioned below. My goal for the group to enjoy activities without pressure to compete or have the fun removed. A group that might be encouraged to get outdoors and move a little more without it feeling militant or intimidating.
I will personally post what I want to do myself and invite members to come along. I am not a tour guide, teacher or expert of any kind. I reserve the right to make mistakes and mess up from time to time . If you are looking for rigid perfection in your experience, you aren't going to find that with me however, I am "all" about "safety first" and adventure a close second.
LEAVE YOUR EGO AT HOME!
ZERO TOLERANCE FOR "NO SHOWS"!
We encourage member participation in planning and organizing "Fitness" events specifically for this group. You are invited to add an event creating multiple "Fitness" activities on any given day. The more we have to choose from the more fun we will experience as a diverse group of fitness enthusiasts.
If you prefer to engage with your own age group feel free to add an age limited "Fitness" event to the calendar. Want to post a singles only, age appropriate "fitness" event feel free, have a family and want to get out with your children, post something kid friendly, (let your child come up with a fun idea). If you want to hike with or without dogs make it happen, post a hike and make it your own design. Or, simply relax and let myself and others come up with some fun ideas. Let the group organizer know when you are interested in adding a "Fitness" event to our calendar.
This group is for anyone and everyone interested in running/training, hiking, biking, kayaking, backpacking, Mt climbing, rock climbing, wilderness camping, car camping, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, bouldering, hitting a gym class, dance, yoga, walking, etc. It's a group for all ages, all levels, adults, singles, couples, families, kids and of course our dogs. All skills levels are welcome, so please create an activity that works at your pace or level of "Fitness" adventure.
"Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity". John F. Kennedy
PS, As an Events Organizer, feel free to promote an activity or class from another meetup group that elevates or forwards "our fitness group" but we ask that you don't use our meetup as a platform to promote another group events or plagiarize our events, if that becomes an issue you will be asked to leave the group. Thank you.
*****Meetup is not a service, organizers do not get paid to serve you personally. They volunteer their time posting adventures to share with the group. So please do not overshoot your expectations or judgements.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
