B18 (map)

AT this time, not sure if Alton Bay Iceport will be open or not, but let's get it on the books.
Hotline number is 603- 875-3498
Here's a rare opportunity to land on an ice port. Is it fun and exciting? Ask Peter Kettle, he made his first last year and the smile stayed until spring :-)
Food is also there and the place can get busy.
B18 is the ICAO. Might not find it on your GPS.

If Alton Bay is closed still, Kaitlin and I were thinking on doing brunch at Sanford.
Charley...you still going to Alton Bay? On foreflight yesterday a guy posted it was thin ice and questionable...do you have an alt. plan?
Sam, as of yesterday, the ice was still perfect. I'll check again this afternoon and tomorrow morning. An alternate is a great idea. We should always have one when going to B18. I'll work on it. LCI has no food, but is close by. Maybe back to Nashua would be a smart flight. Ideas?
Just Spoke with Paul up at Alton Bay...ice is 10-12 inches thick....suppose to be down in the 20s tonight so he said it will be good to go for tomorrow...had a couple guys on there today and had no problem......
