We'll be running 5 miles along the Stevens Creek Trail. You do not need to be training for a half marathon group to join us. Simply come out for the run and meet new runners! We'll meet at the described address which has a lot of parking and is adjacent to the trail.
We will head out promptly at 9 am so please come on time.
Things to consider:
*Get 3-4 runs (3-6 miles each run) in during the week. Running consistently during the week builds endurance and the volume is necessary to completing long distance training runs and reducing risk of injury.
*Get plenty of rest/sleep the night beforehand
*Eat and hydrate well the night beforehand
*Eat a light breakfast an hour or two before the run
*Bring water and nutrition supplements for the run
