Tuesday TED Talk Trek 6:30pm

Difficulty Rating: 1-2 out of 5 - few short hills, usually paved trails, 2-3 miles.  OTOH if extra cold (<30F) will score bonus points making it 3 out of 5.

Suggested by a friend of Gina's.

The Surprising Decline in Violence

The talk's synopsis could be "over the centuries civilization really has worked".

Bring your flashlights because it will be dark the whole way, though typically there is enough ambient light that flashlights are little needed.

Check back an hour before the walk, if possible, to see if the walk is still on.

Note that we leave promptly at 5 minutes after the specified start time.

Happy Feet!

Hey Eric- I'm not sure about the need for more local weather sensor stations. I can ask one of the meteorologists at LWX. Where did you hear about this? I can refer my contact to your source.

This was from a dance partner who recently danced meteorologist in Maryland. Don't have a name.

I planned to walk on Tuesday, but unfortunately I got sick and besides coughing, I have severe laryngitis. I look forward to walking as soon as I am better.

My sprained foot is better, but knee is still twisted from last week's fall. Just call me "Klutzy".
