The Hundred Foot Journey - Opening Night (Save A Dog Scheme Movie Fundraiser)

Let's meet for a film and support a good cause at the same time!

The Film - The Hundred Foot Journey - A story centered on an Indian family who moves to France and opens an eatery across the street from a Michelin-starred French restaurant run by Madame Mallory. Starring Helen Mirren.

The Charity - Save A Dog Scheme -  "a community-based not-for-profit animal welfare organisation that saves hundreds of dogs and cats from being killed every year. We have a no-kill philosophy and provide veterinary care to sick or injured animals so they can live out their natural lifespan. SADS was established in 1985 to offer a humane alternative to the killing of unwanted dogs, especially dogs of good temperament, that would otherwise be destroyed at pounds and shelters." (...from the SADS website)

Will be in the foyer definitely by 6pm & should be there a bit earlier. We will aim to enter the cinema at 6.15 to get seats. We can go for a coffee/drink afterwards close by for those that are interested.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
