Hi, I'm Josh. I started this group because (i) I like to socialise and am keen to meet new folks and (ii) I really enjoy the combination of comfy pub, cheerful banter and humble board games. Scrabble is universal, and hardly ever ends in fisticuffs.
Epoisses. It's dense and stinky.
Z. The options are very limited, lets be honest.
Barthelemy the Fromagerie, obviously.
One lady driver, low KMs. A bargain at this price.
Hi Josh. Thanks for the welcome. Looking forward to Dec 14th. Lindy.
Hi Joshua, thanks for the welcome. I look forward to the 26th Oct. Thanks . Kylie
Hi Josh, I enjoyed the Scrabble, and the company. Looking forward to next time.
Thanks Josh. As a glasses wearer, the 4 Is seemed apt. Oooh look, an NF meetup group. How interesting. See you on the morrow.
Hi Josh. Thinking of you surrounded by crates (of cheese). I hope the move is progressing well and that everything is falling into place. If you need help, just yell
Thanks for the welcome message Joshua...I am not getting notifications for wall posts ...so apologies for the tardy response...I am looking forward to meeting you soon at the next Risk meetup :)
Hi Joshua, I can also teach Risk to beginners if that would be some help. I prefer (and own) the classic Risk with the wooden cubes instead of the more recent variants with plastic figurines and those short-term goal cards. I see you've mentioned having some difficulty working out Meetup. As you can see I run the Melbourne Boardgames Meetup which incorporates 5 different games clubs around Melbourne. You're welcome to come to our events to get ideas for yours, and fire away with any questions.
Hi Josh, Thank you for your kind words. I am looking forward to the opportunity of conquering the world!
Thanks JM. Don't get me wrong, Risk a fabulous game... *if* you're winning, in which case it's crappy for everyone else. It's not quite as bad as Monopoly, I grant you. Let's stick to something we can agree on: that I will beat you at Scrabble. And do look us up at Eurogames at the Royal Standard --you'll never feel the same way about Risk.
