This will be a hike that I use to get back in shape for my W. Fork backpack. Usually, I do not lead such easy and mostly flat hikes. If anyone wants to lead a more challenging hike the same day or weekend---please do so.
The hike is 2.45 miles each way. You may bail out at Midgely Bridge or return to the car for nearly 5 miles. Mostly easy with some spots of uphill that might be called moderate. We start from a parking lot off Schnebly Hill Road, descend, slowly at first, to a crossing of a tributaryof Oak Creek---then, rise to a flat and easy section---then down to and along Oak Creek to a lunch spot. Those doing the 5 mile option will head back via the same route. Those who want to may ascend up to Midgely Bridge and wait for the cars. That may be quite a wait---so, they may wish to cross the creek and see the old concrete aquaduct.
Mostly easy with about 40% moderate. Slow paced---go your own speed.
$6 gas. Driving is all pavement.
Participants may select to stop for refreshments on the way back.

If allergy season ends earlyier---I will lead an easy hike the weekend before.
