Friday Night Freethought and The Science of Brewing with Bill Kurmes

This is our open drinks and discussion night, it is intended to be adult-centric but children are welcome - see more on this below.

The 'agenda': We will have a member highlight and a discussion topic to open the evening, after that it's about just hanging out with like-minded friends!

Member highlight: We are hoping to have Nick Rowe join us this Friday so that we can spend some extra time with him before we lose him to Phoenix!

Discussion topic: The Science of Brewing with Bill Kurmes!

This is an adult-centric event but children are welcome and childcare can be arranged. Besides the likelihood that the conversation we boring for most of a younger audience, this also means that the discussion will be unrestrained. We try very hard to create an atmosphere that feels very safe for authenticity. We don’t censor topics or language at most of our events. Some of us choose to shield our children from these kinds of discussions while other of us prefer to have our children participate. Either way your kids are welcome. A separate space for the kids to play can be created, away from “grownups” and their blah, blah, blah but if you want your kids to participate or you see other kids there, don’t let that restrain your authentic exploration of whatever comes up.

My normal ride (Lorena) is in Mexico (lucky girl). I'd love to attend the event as I've been a brewer for about a decade, but I need a ride. I live right by Target off Milton. Anybody help a brother out?
