The Sunday Community and Ethics Conversation is about serious conversation on topics that matter to Freethinkers. Each week we take a subject to task, learning from each other and sharing ideas. We usually begin with a brief period of sharing, building the bonds that make community by talking about the things that concern us and the things that have brought us joy. Freethinkers are encouraged to ask for and offer help and support with the worries and intentions that are expressed. The discussion is moderated with a light touch to keep the focus on the topic and make sure everyone gets a chance to participate.

We expect to have guest speakers from time to time to help spark informed, useful conversation.

This week's topic: Empathy, can you feel it? Do we need it? Is empathy part of a healthy human experience? What is it, what does it do?

=========
While this is an adult conversation it is also a family friendly event. We are creating a complimentary children's ethics and community event.

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
