Friday Night Freethought:

This is our drinks and discussion night.

The 'agenda':  Is always about hanging out with like-minded friends! Occasionally we will host a speaker, a member highlight, games, announcements, or social service aid, but the event is always about open discussion in a safe and welcoming environment.

This is an adult-centric event but children may attend Additionally childcare can be arranged, the reason being, besides the likelihood that the conversation will be boring for most of a younger audience, this also means that the discussion will be unrestrained.

We try very hard to create an atmosphere that feels very safe for authenticity. We don’t censor topics or language at most of our events. Some choose to shield their children from these kinds of discussions while others prefer to have our children participate. Child care is offered - sometimes on site, sometimes at Brian's clubhouse, 813 West University Avenue, or at another Freethinkers home. Please contact us if you are interested in child care or have questions.

Finally I have an opportunity to visit a Freethinkers social event. But is this a potluck? The invitation doesn't mention food.

It's just a weekly get together we have usually filled with drinking, socializing, some snacking, nail painting.... And a lot more. Food is welcome, but it more of just a hangout than anything else.

Our potluck is once a month and we did the last one about 2-3 weeks ago.
